Our story
Debbie Cares For You Foundation was founded by Deborah Smith on 10 December 2025. Guided by her faith and a heart to serve, Deborah wanted to bring practical care to orphans, widows, people living with disabilities, vulnerable children and families experiencing hardship.
On that same day, the foundation held its first outreach in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Children in orphanages and children living on the streets received school supplies, freshly cooked meals, food, essential provisions and practical financial help.
What began with a heart to serve has grown into a faith-led vision to reach more people with love and practical help.

To see vulnerable people live with dignity, hope, opportunity and a renewed sense of purpose — knowing they are seen, valued, loved and never forgotten.
Our mission
To extend the love of Christ through compassion, practical support, empowerment, prayer and community outreach.
Our purpose
To do more than meet material needs. We aim to restore hope, uphold dignity, encourage potential and remind people they are not forgotten.
Who we serve
We serve orphans, widows, people living with disabilities, vulnerable children and families experiencing hardship.
Our support can include cooked meals, school supplies, household essentials, encouragement, disability support, help for women and girls, prayer where welcomed, and practical assistance where possible.
Every person is welcomed with dignity and respect, without discrimination.

By God’s grace, Deborah has a heart to serve people who are too often overlooked. She founded Debbie Cares For You Foundation to put that faith into action through personal, practical care offered with humility, love and respect.
Our faith foundation
Our work is inspired by the love of Christ and the call to care for people in need. We serve with humility, offer prayer and spiritual encouragement where welcomed, and give according to what God places in our hands.
